This Photo Shoot was done January 3rd, 2009 With our good friends Kelly Taggert, and David WInterhaulter. I dont know if any of you know what was going on in Portland in December and January 2009. We were under Blizzard like conditions. So Friday night Tuesday and i go pick up the Wardrobe from LeAnne Marshall one of Tuesday’s Hero’s since Project Runway. As we pulled up to her studio it started to snow. Luckily it finished about 1 am but the cold stayed. Well into the next morning.
So when booked booked the studio they failed to mention that there is no heat on the weekends. In fact the studio used to be a film storage locker so it seamed to keep the cold in. So for the first 3 hours we had to listen to everyone complain about how cold it was, and yes it sure was, so i had no idea how to fix it. I remember a long line of people walking up to me and informing me how cold it was. (Duh i was there as well.) so i would go and turn some knobs and look official but in reality i was doing nothing. Finally David asked Mikayla and Janelle to stand just out of camera site with to space heaters so the models skin wasn’t blue anymore.
The model in this photo is Meridith, who David found two days before the shoot, she had only done some snap shots, but when she showed up she was a trooper. In fact this is one of my favorite shots of the weekend.
