Kids Cut-A-Thon
On December 6th the staff and friends of TEAL Salon donated their time to raise money for Dove Lewis Animal Hospital. We are pleased to announce that in four and a half hours we raised $445. We in turn went to Animal House in Milwaukie crossing whom where generous enough to give us dog toys at cost.
In all we were able to donate 3 huge boxes of toys to dove Lewis’ Hero’s program that is a program for large breed dogs to donate blood, and receive a free toy. We have been informed that the dogs love the toys.
Our thanks to everyone who came and donated money, time and energy, Especially Denise, Brian, Jody, Lori, Shannon and the staff at Teal.
Kudos to the Teals, their staff and friends for raising money to purchase toys for the canine blood donors of Dove Lewis Animal Hospital. As humans, we may at times forget that our four legged friends and companions may have special needs. It’s no surprise to me that the Teals find ways to give back to their community, because they HAVE done so in many different ways since they’ve been in business. I wish them and their staff much success at their lovely Sellwood location.
